Technical SEO
Technical SEO checks for indexing, site architecture, redirects, canonical URLs, performance and crawlable WordPress and ecommerce websites.

Good SEO starts with what your customers are actually searching for. It continues with pages that answer those searches properly, a website search engines can understand and a way to measure what is working.
At Business on a Budget, we approach search engine optimisation as part of building a useful website. A stronger title tag can help, but it cannot compensate for unclear services, duplicated pages or a website that does not answer the visitor's question.
Search intent
Are people trying to compare prices, find a local business, solve a problem or hire someone? Those searches need different pages. A service page should not be written like a broad educational article.
Existing visibility
Google Search Console can reveal which pages already appear for valuable searches, even when they have few clicks. Those pages often deserve attention before publishing more articles.
Page structure
We review headings, titles, descriptions, internal links, navigation and whether important services have their own meaningful content.
Technical access
Pages need to be crawlable and indexable, with sensible canonical URLs, redirects, sitemaps and mobile usability.
Conversion
More traffic is only useful if visitors understand the offer and can contact or buy from the business.
For a business that serves a defined area, clear service information and an accurate Google Business Profile may help people discover it. Location pages should contain genuinely useful local information. We don't recommend producing dozens of identical suburb pages with only the place name changed.
A practical content plan might include one strong service page, a genuine cost guide, a platform comparison and a troubleshooting article. Each earns its place by answering a different need. The pages should link to one another naturally, without repeating the same sales pitch in every paragraph.
We explain this approach in SEO for small businesses in South Africa.
Nobody can guarantee a number-one Google ranking, a particular number of enquiries or an exact timeline. Results depend on the searches involved, competing websites, content quality, technical condition and links from elsewhere on the web.
We prefer measurable questions: Which non-branded searches matter? Are the relevant pages getting impressions? Are their positions and click-through rates improving? Are visitors making useful enquiries?
If a site is being rebuilt, we need to protect existing URLs and search signals. If an online store is being developed, categories and products need understandable paths. If a website is slow or hard to use, content alone may not be the answer.
